New York City
New York City is a place I’ve always dreamt of visiting. Growing up I watched countless movies based in the Big Apple, not to mention New Years celebrations, almost anything on MTV the list goes on.
Once I got into college, I became more fascinated by the city. It’s deep roots in journalism and the history of the city in general. When my husband got scheduled to take his board exams in Philadelphia, we decided to make a little family trip of it.
To me it was perfect. We came at just the right time to catch the trees in Central Park graced in beautiful autumn colors. As true tourists we (respectfully) saw Carrie Bradshaw’s stoop and stopped by the famed corner that holds ‘The Central Perk’ below the Friends apartment. We took in Times Square and made visits to the Natural History Museum and the Guggenheim.
There wasn’t a corner you could turn that was anything less picture perfect.
